veidt_fans pisses me the fuck off. Because, look, I'm as much on the "Veidt is waaaay coded queer" train as anyone (especially in the movie) but, sorry children, IT'S NOT CANON!. Subtext =/= canon. Sadly,it doesn't. I just... doesn't. End of story.

So, if people want to write Adrian/OFC fics, they can without subverting canon. Fucking up his characterization? Sure. Not always. NOt in every case. ( cut for movie spoilers and my Watchmen OFC fic spoilers )
