Serafina's Corner of the World

I made a half hearted attempt to go to school to work on my classroom. I don't have to be back until next week, officially, but since I've moved rooms, I started going in last week. I skipped Friday and Monday, but convinced myself to go in for a few hours today.

However, my usual on ramp to the freeway was closed for construction. Then, I missed the second one. So, since I wasn't really enthusiastic about going, I took it as a sign and came home. I'll write instead. And maybe go to the movies, maybe. And read fanfic.

Last night, I saw Dark Knight at the IMAX.

William Fitchner 53 ft high (he wasn't 73 ft wide, but the screen was). It was amazing. You could see eyelashes, little freckles, everything. He was beautiful.

Also, the rest of the movie was awesome. There were a couple times where I felt like I was in the movie (particularly in the beginning when the clowns slide from one building to the other).

If you get a chance to see it on IMAX, I totally recommend it.

Also, I read the Killing Joke last week. Eh, I don't know. It was okay. There were things I liked, but, like with Watchmen, I didn't think it was the best thing ever. Maybe I'm just not captivated by Alan Moor or something. So. Can anyone give me recommendations for some good comics (I prefer the trades so I can read them all together). I've read No Man's Land (loved it), so don't recommend that. And it doesn't have to be Batman; it can be anything. Just some stuff y'all think every comic reader should read.
