I don't like to squint. It gives you wrinkles.
Thus, it either is a certain pairing, or it isn't. Grow a pair and stop with the fucking squinting shit.

Date: 2007-04-20 04:46 pm (UTC)I completely agree with the squinting crap. It drives me up the wall. It's kinda like when a writer (fanfic or otherwise) leaves an ending that is supposedly "intentionally ambiguous" for "effect", wanting to "leave it up to the reader to decide" which always leaves me feeling jipped(sp?) and wanting to cry bullshit. It's never for the reader to decide. The whole point of writers in my opinion, is that they make those decisions for us readers, and we choose whether or not to like the story or to read it at all. And I consider myself a writer as well, so I think it's insulting to the reader to pull that kind of crap.
I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to throw something whenever I see the squint label. It just seems so pointless. Sorry to spam you with my comment but I just loved the fact that finally someone voiced my own feelings on this subject. I even had some mini rant a while back on my lj on the same thing, I think.
Ha! I found it!
