I hate the HP Lexicon for the most part, but I was poking around and they didn't have this information. I'm wondering if the Potter family somehow branched off in one direction from the Slytherines/Gaunt, just because Harry and Riddle (and, assumably, James) look so much alike. I had another thought about that, too.... something about maybe that's why Riddle chose the Potters/Harry as the family/baby to go after, rather than Neville. Both half-bloods [sort of] (whereas Neville is pureblood), Potter and Riddle resembled each other...

And there was some other reason. It's hard to take notes while you're reading out loud to the kids and they keep going, "What are you doooing Ms. Y?" every time you stop.

I was also wondering if Voldemort might be able to tap into Ginny since one of his Horcuruxes poured itself into her. I know that diary!Riddle and Voldemort aren't exaclty the same, but once part of Voldie's soul had access, it may follow that another part would follow.

Can you curse a wand? Maybe if you curse a wand witha special curse, its brother will become cursed too.

Someone over at ffrants was complaining that Lockheart was a Mary Sue but, gasp, a published author would *never* do something like that, would they?

I think they missed the point of Lockheart. Wasn't he supposed to be "perfect" only to be, you know, a King McFakerson?
