I'm mostly indiferent on this episode. Did they play Depeche mode at the end again? Because I know I'm in the minority, but I hate them. Them and U2, except for "Stuck in the Moment."

Anyway, I'm glad Lana acknowledged at the end that Clark's deflection was valid. Because, even though it was a deflection, I felt he was right and justified to bring up what he did at the moment: he wasn't the only one pulling away.

The Chloe/Clark scene was classic. I'm at the point of agreeign that we aren't supposed to think that Clark/Lana is a perfec couple or that they belong together. It was built up that way for years only to all fall apart even more now that they are together.

Which, of course, means Chloe is dead. One of these days Clarkis going to wake up and realize what he has with Chloe is what Martha and Jonathan (theoretically) have together. Honesty *shakes finger at Martha*, chemistry, attraction (they are; Clark's just blinded by Lana), etc. And the moment he does, Chloe dies.

So sad.

I'm glad Lex was a little unnerved by Crazy Stalker Chick. He should know by now. So should the writers, but whatever.

I laughed hard at his line about needing better security. Seriously, by now, it's a running gag. It's a running gag in COTW, too, only I play up on it a little more. Or, at least I mention it a lot.

Lois was goregous today. I liked her, but am meh on the story line.

And Martha making a deal with the devil? Does she not realize that Jonathan would ony want to win if he can do it without Luthor-help and the presence of such help automatically will negate the victory in his mind?

So stupid.

And yet, so wrongly sexy when she climbed into the limo.

Next week: Lex gets hurt. That'll be new.
