I looked at an advertisement for a new sporting goods store in town and immediately thought, "That has too many windows. It's not defensible from zombies."

My plan is to head to the local Big 5. It's small and the doors are easily blocked.

The local goodwill is perfect. It was part of a school so the doors are metal and heavy duty but with small windows so I can get a look outside, windows are small and easily blocked, and, yep, lots of supplies.. :p

Sporting goods stores in genral aren't good places for the zombie apocalypse. Their where you go to get supplies like guns, ammo, stoves, sleeping bags, bats, outdoor clothes, batteries & lamps, fishing gear. Then you head to the hills or a grocery store where there's food & hole up there.

One of my plans includes going to the aquarium. I read in a book where survivors stayed at a museum, because it had locked doors, etc. to keep crowds out. I figured the aquarium had all that plus food.
