Very, Very Tired

I've been moving since Wednesday, and I'm still not out. I've got a truck for tomorrow, will pick up the fridge from Best Buy and move the big stuff. And that'll be it. On Wednesday I went to Target and got a bunch of stuff. The biggest steal was a 46 piece dinner wear set for 13 dollars. I don't know why it was so cheap; I mean, it was clearence and said "holiday" but I don't know why. There aren't any snowmen, trees, green, or anything on it. It's just white. The only thing I can think is it's supposed to be a party set, but oh well. They're my dishes for now.

Yesterday I went to Ikea and had fun. Of course, one of the lamps I bought is broken so I have to go back, but still. I found a coffee table with storage for like CDs and DVDs and stuff, which I always need. Then, today, I went grocery shopping and to Khols for a bunch of other shit. I'm so worn out now; I'm definetely not in the mood for New Years.

The "big" scary news is I've decided not to get cable right away. I want to see how I do with just regular TV. I might get NetFlix so I can rent TV and movies that I've been wanting to see. I have a feeling that'll be a better choice, at least for right now. Of course, that means I'm sticking with dial-up, but I'm used to it, so it's all cool. If I change my mind later, my phone company offers DSL and I can go with them.

Of course, as I said to my sister, the best thing about the move is I'll finally get to put naked pictures of Clark and Lex on my computer. :)

With any luck, I'll be mostly settled in by Sunday. I want to start writing again, and I have a bunch of stuff to grade.

Ah, bless your heart. I know your pain. I spent the majority (12hrs) of New Years Eve finishing up my move. I've been without a phone and TV for 5 days, which for me is a milestone.

I've resolved that the next time I have to move, I'll just set everything ablaze and start from scratch. Because, really the best thing about moving is *new stuff*
