serafina20So, apparently my motto is why shop around and why wait? Today, I went out to look at a few apartments. I took the first one I looked at. It's in the complex I was interested in, good location, *nice* complex, good room. It's a bottom floor, has a yard, closets, pool, and laundry. Basically, I walked in, said I wanted an apartment, and they said I could move in as soon as I wanted.
I'm starting to move on Wednesday. I figure that, since I'm moving from home, I can take my time getting everything in. I only need to call the phone and cable; they call the rest of the utilities. My sister and I will start moving in what I can, like my books, my end tables, etc. On Saturday, we'll move the big stuff, like my bed, couch, chair, etc. Then, with any luck, I'll be all settled in by the time school starts on Monday.
Plus, since everything is on sale right now, I should get good deals on flatware and stuff. And, who knows? By Monday, I might have DSL or cable or something. *sigh*
Life is going to be good.
