Medieval Times
Dec. 5th, 2004 07:42 pmI just got back from Medieval Times with my sister. I took her there for her birthday this year. It was *so* much fun. we're already plannign on going back for my birthday. E. and I can do nothing normal, I swear.
We were red and yellow, which was fantastic because that meant the Green Knight was out ally. I love the Green Knight. He's the most hated and reviled of all the knights and therefor reminds me of Moredred. This G.K. was turley spectacular. He was cocky, arrogant, cute, and an overall Superstar. It was wonderful.
Also wonderful was the fact that after having gone at least 5 or 6 times, I finally recieved a rose from our knight. It was funny, too. He was a really, *really* bad aim, and kept missing who he was throwing the flowers to. The second game he won, he rode over and, even though he was a little to the right, I really think he was tryign to throw it to me. He missed, throwing it backwards instead (his expression was priceless since it just slipped from his fingers and flew at an odd angle), so he rode over right in front of me and threw the next one. When I caught it, he kind of pumped his arm int he air, winked, and pointed at me like, 'Yes! It was *supposed* to go to you!"
Sadly, I did not recieve his token for the jousting. But that was okay. He won his first fight, and then was killed the second. He was killed by the warrior-priest, and I thought it was bad form that the priest did not cross him nor the Green Knight (*sob*) when he killed them, a la Aramis in the Three Musketeers. He was very bloodthirsty.
It was such a fantastic time. And I look really good in the picture they took of my sister and me. Yay! :)

Waitress: here were no utensils in medieval times, hence there are no utensils AT Medieval Times. Would you like a refill on that Pepsi?
Matthew Broderick:There were no utensils but there was Pepsi?
