I watched the Pilot on the DVD that Entertainment Magazine sent. And I loved it. It was fantastic.

But, dude. Knowing which one becomes president and which one doesn't? Doesn't ruin the show. Because, people, again: It's the JOURNEY, not the destination. Same with Smallville.

Why can't people get that?

I watched the DVD of the pilot also, and you know what, I wasn't that impressed. Everyone seems to be raving about this show, but I didn't like it much, and I'm not even sure why. Maybe because I'm not a Christine Lahti fan, I find her strident and annoying. Although, that is her character's personality, but still, I just couldn't get into it. Either way, I wouldn't spoil the surprise for anyone, though I have to admit I watched the preview DVD because I'd been seeing the advertisements for weeks, and I was kind of curious about which brother became president.

I thought the show was pretty good. I'll keep watching. The Presidency reveal didn't bother me at all. I was a little bothered that they told us Jack dies. But, that could just be the fangirl crush I have on him. As long as Jack's death as some bearing on why Bobby becomes president, it's fine. But it that aspect isn't explored on the show, than I see no reason for the reveal. So, I'm just waiting to see where it all goes.

I was too. I could handle the whole he didn't become president thing, but I want him to live. He's had too hard a life not to. *sniff* But I do think it'll have some bearing as to how Bobby gets into politics; he did say taht his brother had the biggest influence on his life, so...
