I'm filling out the application for the apartment, and I'm suddenly terrified I'll be turned down. Even though I'll be fine, it probably doesn't look like i have enough to afford the place. I do. I have first and last month's rent in one savings account, I have enough to cover anything extra in another (without draining it); I have two credit cards I can use until my first paycheck, and while my checking is getting a little low (well, 700, but still), I"m fine. I start going to inservices in August, which will come out to 400 dollars, and start work soon after.

I want this apartment. But I'm afraid I don't look like I can get it. *sigh*

Take a deep breath!! Most places only want first and last, proof of employment and good credit. You should be fine.

Don't worry. They are looking for things like cancelled credit cards or foreclosures, etc. I am sure you will be fine. I got one of my apartments while still on disability by showing them I had adequate savings in my account. *g*

And, really, once i start working, I'll be fine. It's just I haven't gotten much work this summer and, sadly, only get paid for teachign when I actually, you know. Teach. :)
