Good morning LJ!!!
Jul. 17th, 2004 10:15 amThanks to everyone who answered my questions about bad asthma attacks last night. I'll probably comment on them all later, but I really need to avoid that post right now. The weather has been giving me breathing problems lately, and as I was looking over all the info last night, I could feel my chest closing and my mind going, "Maybe I need that. Maybe that too. Maybe ..."
So, yeah. This is why I couldn't go into psychology, btw. I took a critical thinking class my freshman year and self-diagnosed so bad, I'd lie awake nights, waiting for my schizophrenic break or for my other personality to show up. Luckily, the teacher really loved me, so she was able to talk me out of my fears. And for some reason I was surprised when she still remembered me three years later.
Dude. I was in college a *long* ass time. *sigh*
I'm still waiting for COTW beta to come back from anyone. I've tentatively started the next part, but I'm running into some problems. The main one being how to write in this new arc, how to handle the Helen/Mark/Lex relationship (Helen has some definite ideas; Lex and I think she's going about it *all wrong*). I also have to collaspe the whole Lionel/Martha relationship, get Martha to warn Lex about something, pull Dom back from London *again* (interesting note: on Jason Connery's IMBD profile, they put Dominic's last name a "Sanatori", and yet, in the episode, everyone pronounces it "Santori". Which, of course, as we know, is wrong because in "Reaper" it was Sanatori). I also have to rewatch "Suspect" right now because it takes place right after "Insurgence" (which is a good episode, but with flaws). I can almost leaev "Insurgence" alone except for Jonathan/Lex's scenes, which will actually be fun to write. And, I have to figure out what to do with Lana, Chloe, and Chad. Lana's gone through things in COTW 46 which will need attention and. Yeah. That's about it.
I'm still working on the Morgan/Clark fic. It's actually a lot deeper than I'd thought it was going to be. For those of you avoiding it because the idea of them together squicks you, let me take this moment to say that it's not all about sex between them and the fic sheds a lot of light on Morgan's character and his relationship with Lex. So, uh, read it. ;)
"De-Lovely" finally opened in a theater near me. I will be going to see it today. Yay!
My Friend's Of list is at 199. That's more than I ever expected.
One more week until Comic-Con!!

Date: 2004-07-17 05:22 pm (UTC)Me too! And it really was. Loved every minute of it, was moved to tears by several songs (not just moments, but the songs themself were so beautifully done) and walked out wanting to see it again. *sigh*

Date: 2004-07-17 06:17 pm (UTC)I can't wait for the next part of CotW. (But what else is new?) And I promise I'll get the stuff up this week - most likely on Monday.

Date: 2004-07-18 11:38 am (UTC)I hate when the only open movies in select cities and theaters. It drives me crazy.

I'm sure it'll come back from beta one day. *sigh8
