What kind of a freak can't go into a room to get food because she's afraid of the people in the room? Who aren't scary or anything, just people who work at this place, but I just ... can't go in there. And I couldn't get out either, becuase everyone I saw was trying to make me go in and get pizza nad I just want to ... leave becuase I *can't* go in there.

What the fuck is wrong with me?

I dunno but I'm with you (only not with you, because of the whole not-able-to-join-you thing). Isn't it *irritating* and *infuriating* and lots of other words beginning with 'in'?

Yeah. I hate going out for an evening with friends and explaining that I have to sit in a specific place, the one with the escape route and preferably with my back to the wall.

I've had that happen! Not recently, though, so (if it's any comfort) it might be something you get over when you get old middle-aged.
