My mind is blanking on who brought up Maslow in my journal in reference to my need to find a job and total disinterest in finding a relationship. But, in the class I subbed in the other day, the teacher had the students analyze Island of the Blue Dolphin and the main characters needs using Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs. I thought that was pretty cool.

In other news, there used to be an Ani DiFranco shirt with the Swan Dive lyrics, "I don't care if they eat me alive/I've got better things to do than survive" on them. I can't find it anymore, and I think if I get a job, that would have been a good gift to myself. I mean, besides the laptop computer (which is work-related) and the Disney watch I wanted to get. :)

I really wish my animating Swan Dive icon would animate. What is wrong with my computer? And why am i hungry again?
