*sobbing tears of saddness*
Apr. 23rd, 2004 07:59 pmWe already knew that the Lupin cast was not the Lupin we wanted. While my sister has never specified an actor for him, I've known from the beginning that my Lupin was Jeremy Irons.
On hearing the casting news, I was saddened. However, as I love Gary Oldman with the firey passion of a thousand suns, I tried to comfort myself that, even though I'm a Remus girl, I'd be fine.
But, on watching Timeline and cringing every time Thewlin comes on screen, my sister and I sob tears of dejection. And saddness. And sorrow. And pain.

Date: 2004-04-23 09:08 pm (UTC)My Lupin hops back and forth between Hugh Grant and Tom Hulce (it was always TH until the rumor of HG went around).
My Sirius? An actor named John Challis, as he appeared in an old Doctor Who episode from, oh, 30 years ago now (I looked it up -- 28 years ago). I'm looking for a still of him from that ep, and I can't find one. Sigh.
