I need wedding rings fic. Which is a fic where two male characters (or female) exchange wedding rings. They don't have to get formally married, but they need to wed to each other. I'm in the mood and I'm terrified that it's going to seep into COTW ....

What's wrong with COTW!Clark and COTW!Lex exchanging rings?

Obscure it with plot -- something freaks one of them out and they decide to exchange tokens to keep each other physically near or something. Or a futurefic scene.

It actually seems to be leading up to that. Every time I try to figure out this certain demi-plot issue, Lex keeps pulling out rings. I'm just a little leery of it; I'm not sure if it's too soon or not.
