Sing, O goddess
Apr. 11th, 2004 10:51 amDear Muse,
Yo, what up? This is the second fic in a row where I've finished the first draft, only to completely rewrite the second draft so it's different. Why is that? Why can't we get it right the first time? I mean, I like making things better, but wouldn't life be easier if we just wrote the plot the way we wanted it the first time, and then built on that?
Just a thought.
Oh, and anytime you want to start singing the song of how Kali meets Gabriel, I'm all ears.
Love, your devoted conduit,
Serafina
The candy bunny failed to bring any candy this year. Well, one measely box of Peeps, two of which will be sacrificed to show my parents (again) how to make them fight against each other. Sometimes, memory loss can be annyoing, such as when I tell Mom something, and then have to tell her again and again, only to have to file it away with the "Not Important" stuff ... again. Or when she tells you a story, and years later, I have to tell her again, because it really shouldn't be lost (such as how my sister walked in on full frontal nudity in "The Whole Nine Yards."). But other times, it can be okay, because I like to tell stories and I've almost always got a new audience.
