I was under the impression that it was one piece, but I saw a website that said the kitty head came off, and you used the pink part. But then, on other sites, it looks like one piece and you use the Hello Kitty part for stimulation.

Do you know which it is?

It's one piece yo. I don't know how you'd get the head to come off, but did you know there's also a deluxe Hello Kitty massager? Both of them are here:

Honestly though? If you're going to spend that $40 on a vibrator buy a good one. The HK's inflated price (I remember seeing it for $15 once - now it's impossible to find it for under $35) is b/c it was discontinued and is a collector's item. It's cheap plastic.
