On Buffy, Tara was told by her father that she was a demon. Turns out they tell all of the women in their family, including Tara's mother, this. No one seemed to notice that if Tara's mother was part of her father's family, that should indicate that Tara must be the result of an incestuous marriage, or something very close to one.
