A. Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country remains one of my favorite Star Trek movies. The story is great, the action is great, I *love* Dr. McCoy to *death*, and ...

It's so cheesy silly! I love the banquet scene with the Klingons. I have so many memories of my brother and me watching it, MST3K-ing all the little weird things (like the "undisovered country" toast where everyone got all scared because the UC refers to death. And Scotty's drunk, "Perhaps we're seeing some of that future here" where everyone gets embarrassed).

And then weird things. Like, who okayed the chair with the rolling wheels on the bridge of the Excelsior? Don't they watch the show? And ... I love this movie.

I guess Kim Cattrell, who was in Sex in the City, is Valaries. To bad I didn't watch SiC, so I can't get excited.

Oh, and i have a problem. I was out getting lunch when the sub guy called, and I didn't have a pen. I didn't have a pen because my purse is mico sized. So, I need to carry a bigger purse, but generally all that's in it is my wallet and cell phone. Any suggestions as to what to fill it with? Take my poll.

[Poll #268023]

I think, if I'm goign to post pictures of my OC characters in COTW later if I'm still stressed, like I am now. Maybe not. But maybe.

Hey, I carry a backpack with a couple of notebooks and several pens. I have a small purse that I can take out of the backpack that has my wallet, keys, glasses and important meds in it. I have a PDA, bus passes, CDS, my beeper, cough drops, a book, the mail and anything else I need to carry to or from work. In a pinch I can pack it as an overnight case and hop on a plane.

I've gone from a purse no bigger than a generous wallet to a backback and back several times. I prefer the backpack.

My problem is I don't *want* or *need* to carry around all of that. I don't write on paper much anymore, so I don't carry around a notebook like I used to, when I'm running errands, I don't need a book, I don't have a PDA and don't use an organizer except to write down what school I sub at, etc. All I really need is a wallet and my phone, which is why I bought a small purse. The difficultly I'm running into is I occassionally get called for sub jobs while I'm driving and dont' have anything to write with or on. So, obviously, I need to carry around a small pad of paper. However, I can't find a medium purse with a strap long enough to cross over my chest, so I was looking for few "essential" things to put in it.
