Grand Admiral Thrawn and Talon Karrde are from Timothy's Zahn's Star Wars book (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, Last Command).

Clopin is the king of the gypsies in "Hunchback of Notre Dame" (the Disney version). Very sexy.

He's really only in, like, a total of 7 minutes. But there was this show over at Disneyland I was a groupie of for awhile, and he was pretty much the star. That's what sealed my love for him.
