Will someone (or has someone) written Smallville Dangerous Liaisons? With Lex as Valmont and maybe Victoria (or Helen) as Merteuil?
(Dude; according to my script, Alan Rickman opened the play. Cool).
Anyway, please? *bats eyelashes*
What happens if I go back and add scenes in the WIP? Do I post those as well, or just wait until I posted the whole thing?
I think I'm going to skip Skinwalker in COTW, too (like I did Dichot) but in a different way. Everything still happens, but I don't deal with it. You know, like the old days. It's just too hard. Not much needs to be changed, except for maybe Clark and Kyla, and that can be explained away without showing.
I didn't get kneepads at Target. They didn't have any. They did, however, *finally* have the 10" Flash doll. He's now on my action figure shelf with the Justice League symbol tacked to the wall behind him. He's so cute!!
Edited because I am going to skip Skinwalker and I DID skip Dichot.

Date: 2004-01-04 08:55 pm (UTC)Dichotic was the point where I stopped doing "Random Musings" in S2, because it depressed me too much to analyze such crap. Skinwalker is worse, so on that grounds I'm with you. But what about the caves?

Date: 2004-01-04 09:54 pm (UTC)Actually, I disagree. Skinwalker had bad acting and a mediorce FOTW plot, but the characters were in character. In Dichotic they weren't. Lana, Chloe, Clark, I couldn't buy a thing they did, *and* the FOTW plotline didn't make sense. Skinwalker had the horrible Kyla-actress, but the rest of it was typical. If given a choice between Dichotic or death, however, I would happily choose death.
But what about the caves?
I said the episode didn't need to be dealt with because nothing needs to be rewritten, not that I was going to throw the episode out. Most of the episodes in S2 have be be drastically revamped to fit in COTW canon. Like "Heat"; most of that didn't make sense in COTW because of the fundamental differences between the show and my seires.
Skinwalker doesn't have the problem. The *only* thing that needs to really be addressed is Clark and Kyla's relationship, and that can be done without rewriting the episode. I can start writing after the action ends, mention what happened, and bring in the caves with the characters alreay knowing about them. Because the caves are essential to the show's canon.
Dichotic I threw out. It never happenes in COTW canon, where Skinwalker does. The only things I needed to adress were the fact that Lana and Chloe moved in and Helen. So I tossed the entire episode; it doesn't exist. Ian (or whatever the splitting kid) never happened, whereas everything in Skinwalker does.
