Why the *fuck* can't I formatt the fucking lables for the fucking dividers I bought? I mean, obviously there's a default in Microsoft Word for Windows 2000 because it says so on the package. So why not XP? *throws portfolio out the window*

There should be the same default in Word XP, that's what I'm running and I had the template for the dividers I'm using for my Seagrams project. You know how to access them don't you? You go to Tools then chose Envelopes and Labels, then click on Options and pick the template for the divider you are using.

Hope that this helps.

There is *no* template for the divider I'm using. That's why I'm so frustrated.

Serafina,

Is it an Avery label? If it is, under options you choose Avery Standard and a lot of the different label stocks show up.

For example, for the Face sheet for a 8 tab divider set you'd pick 'Hidden Tab 8', then click on 'New Document'. That opens up a new doc with the template in place and you can just type in your choices.

If it's not there you can also download the different templates at Avery's site. The other label makers have downloadable templates too.
