And, sadly, no, I'm not talking about my personal life. At this point, I'd just be so thrilled to have a choice/chance, I dont' know what my answer would be. ;)

No, the question referrs to the still untitled Pirate AU for the Historical Fiction Challenge. Do I show the sex? At this point, I feel I've teased with things so much, I should. But the whole vocabulary issue plus ... other issues comes up. I don't know what to call anything in the 1700's. *blushes* Stupid, silly, etc. To top is off, I don't know if I'm really in the mood to write it. Club!Clark is beginning to get louder for me to write himi; he wants his new clothes. But ... pirates! And I think I sort of have an ending! (Finally).

*sigh* I'll puzzle this out a little while longer, and then get writing.

If it helps at all, cock has been in usage since the 1100s, so it won't be anachronistic if you're inclined to write one or two in! :)

thank you. I kept meaning to look it up online since my dictionary doesn't have the, ah, usage of the word I needed. And I wasn't sure where else to look, although googling it might have been kind of fun. ;)
