And again

Wow. You're really pretty. Your dress makes you look fat. Look, right there, a bulge or something. And I'm pretty sure you meant to put on matching socks. I'm just telling you because .... well, just because I can. But, really, you're pretty.

etc: No one insulted my appearance (god; I think lost weight again. Anyone who says I'm fat needs to be checked into ta mental clinic). Someone sent me feedback pointing out the mistakes just because they could. And actually said, "just because I can." I was going for a metaphor I've used before, but I'm feeling like I've failed.

Saw the movie

I saw The Manchurian Candidate today. It was a good movie. I almost wish I hadn't seen it, though. It was just too much for me to handle during parts, and I was still really depressed/uncomfortable at the end. That's the reason I don't see movies like that. But it was free (parents paid) and it stopped me from checking my e-mail every three minutes.

But, anyway. I'm almost done going through the hardcopy of Kal/Morgan. I'll be revising it tomorrow, maybe Monday, and then I might send it off. I've got to volunteers for beta's; anyone else interested? Any kind of beta: grammar/typos, continuity, and characterization.

I'm going to make a change to LLAR so it fits in with some of the stuff in this one. Just one line; the rest I'm going ot have Clark write around (like the fact he told Lex he sent Morgan away, and that he hadn't been charging for sex before he met Morgan. I think I'll have Lex find that stuff out and confront Clark if I do a sequel. But i need to change the parent who went and brough Clark home). That means I'll have to bug the SSA archivists, but hopefully they won't mind too much. I also hope the Piek Ric archivist (*waves*) don't mind either.

It hurts to breathe today. That sucks. And I have two weeks until the inservices for teachign start. Yay!

*sigh*

Jack Davenport is such a lovely, lovely man. So cute. And I loved him from the first moment I saw him, three years ago, even before he became my favorite Commodore.

I don't think I'll watch the end of this movie. Too sad.
