I used to have a Puck icon, but I stopped using it due to space. That was stupid of me.

You are that merrie wanderer of the night - outgoing and playful. Like Robin Goodfellow you enjoy a great joke, even when the joke's on you. You're the life of the party - you have a happy disposition and you like to laugh and have a good time. You're mischevious and you enjoy pulling someone's leg, but your jokes are generally good-natured and well meant (unless of course you're dealing with some fool mortal). When it comes right down to it, you'll do what you can to help out a friend.

Anyho, I'm at work. I brought my flash drive and am trying to finish the revisions on COTW 46 before sending it out to beta. Am also thinking about the next Morgan/Clark chapter (as well as a title) and batting around the Robin Hood idea in my head. I also have a book I want to read.

Oh, and I'm bored. Entertain me?

*sigh*

Although I understand being upset/embarrassed by creating something like [livejournal.com profile] johnxjohn and then having people take it seriously, I honestly think there's something "wrong" with stating that fanfiction/slash is embarrassing. Becuase it implies that there's something wrong with it and, you know what? I'm firmly in the category of "it's a hobby."

Hobbies I'm not ashamed of:

reading
writing
swimming
walking
bike riding
movies
masturbating
water color (when I do it)
gardening
going to Disneyland
collecting ... anything
going to coffee shops and haning out
writing/reading fanfiction
writing/reading slash

And nothing anyone ever says about why it should be embarrassing to write/read fanficiton/slash will ever convince me I should feel so.

ETA

You know what else I hate? When someone posts a rant about how not to write badfic or fic in general that says everything that people have said before and I only half-way agree with part of it .... and everyone praises them for "saying what needs to be said. Finally."

Damn

Ever had one of those things where you wanted to say something witty and clever (or, at least, amusing to yourself) and failed, only to have it come to your mind days later?

In a recent discussion on casting spoilers in [livejournal.com profile] sabershadowkat's LJ, I said that the problem with casting spoilers is they usually not only give the actor but the part they are playing (I think someone else has said it before me, of course). Then I said i wouldn't mind reading one that said, "Ian Sommerhalder returns as a Clark's rival for Lex's affection."

I should have made it Seth Green. My "casting spoiler" should ahve read: Seth Green joins the cast as a romantic interest for Lex Luthor, sparking jealousy in our future Super-hero's heart."

Someone once made me Seth Green wall paper with COTW quotes on it. I didn't get a chance to save it to my hard drive. I'm in a Seth Green mood right now.

If someone defriends you out of the blue and you dont' know why (that is, you haven't exchanged any words with this person that you feel would precipitate an unfriending) do you defriend them back? When? Why?
