COTW 43: On the Wall

I've decided to give up subbing and live off the profits I make from fanfiction. Since that is the case, after you finish reading this fic, contact me so I can explain how to get the money to me. I just want a small donation, enough to keep my sanity and allow me to continue making about $95 a day. :)

But I am working

Not getting paid and, in fact, just spent most of what I earned on Monday (I have 8 of that 152 dollars I made left) on more resume folders/envelopes, good paper, file folders (for my job file), printable address labels (since I write like a 12 year old with good printing [i.e. almost all letters on the line, but most not, and very shakey. I also make letters differently each time, so no G, g, y or Y is ever the same]) printer ink (colored alone was $54; colored + black was $57. I am now good on black ink for quite awhile), and a map of California. Why the map you ask? Because I really need to know where some of these places I'm applying to are. ;)

I also got little ABC dividers for my card box. I've decided to get organized about my eclectic research that I do for COTW. I've looked up stuff on allergies, asthma, fertilizer, AIDS, and a lot of other stuff. Plus, nebt_het just kindly did research on self-injury for me, so I'm organizing that onto note cards too. I figured that I never know when I might need this info for my orginal novel, so I'm putting it all into the card box.

Applying for jobs is stressful, yo.

But, in more fun news, I have gotten a photobucked account. I realized at some point, I never properly thanked and fawened over the cover sabershadowkat made for me awhile ago. So, ( Here it Is )

Spammy McSpam Spam

A. Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country remains one of my favorite Star Trek movies. The story is great, the action is great, I *love* Dr. McCoy to *death*, and ...

It's so cheesy silly! I love the banquet scene with the Klingons. I have so many memories of my brother and me watching it, MST3K-ing all the little weird things (like the "undisovered country" toast where everyone got all scared because the UC refers to death. And Scotty's drunk, "Perhaps we're seeing some of that future here" where everyone gets embarrassed).

And then weird things. Like, who okayed the chair with the rolling wheels on the bridge of the Excelsior? Don't they watch the show? And ... I love this movie.

I guess Kim Cattrell, who was in Sex in the City, is Valaries. To bad I didn't watch SiC, so I can't get excited.

Oh, and i have a problem. I was out getting lunch when the sub guy called, and I didn't have a pen. I didn't have a pen because my purse is mico sized. So, I need to carry a bigger purse, but generally all that's in it is my wallet and cell phone. Any suggestions as to what to fill it with? Take my poll.

I think, if I'm goign to post pictures of my OC characters in COTW later if I'm still stressed, like I am now. Maybe not. But maybe.
