I'm doing the 20 lj users meme now. I don't think this was a bad idea. I don't think that people are reacting as badly as others think. Yes, human nature is to wonder if they are the few "bad" points, but I don't think it's ruining any days. It certainly didn't ruin mine. Yes, I often think people think the worst of me, but that's *my* flaw. Intellectually I know that they probably don't; I don't give much cause. And, once I get beyond an immediate reaction, I go back to wondering who is what, both good and bad. Isn't that what this is for?

So, my list. I'm not very articulate when it comes to things like this, but here it is:

1. I adore you. I think you are a goddess and don't know if I would be as good a writer if I had never met you. Beyond the ways you've helped me, you're just a wonderful human being and I hope I get a chance to meet you in person one day.

2. It's all your fault! Slash, Smallville, everything. But I love you for it.

3. It's all your fault too! But I love you too.

4. You are a wonderful writer and a very nice person. I'm very grateful for the feedback you've been sending me lately. And I love your fics. Even when I wasn't reading Smallville fic a few months ago, I always read when you posted.

5. You write the best Tom/Mike RPS, and have gotten me totally hooked. On top of that, you're very funny and I enjoy reading your posts.

6. I friended you because you write a lot of interesting things about the show that I generally agree with. I never expected you to friend me back, but that's okay. As intelligent as you seem to be, I don't think I'd like you too much if we met.

7. I don't know what to say about you. You confuse me. For awhile, I thought we were friends, and then you just lost interest in me or something, and I still am stung.

8. Everyone says you are nice and welcoming. I guess I'm the exception. I don't think favorably of you.

9. I love reading your thoughts on the show, since they are well thought out and thought provoking. Thank you for your help with my series.

10. You are a very talented artist, and I love seeing what new manipulations you come up with.

11. You seem like a genuinely warm and caring person. I like reading your posts, and try to comment when I think I can add to them. I value your opinions and your thoughts on the show and my series. (But it's not all about me; I'd like you even if you didn't.)

13. God. You're such a fucking bitch. And that is the only thing I will *ever* say to you, even if we had the misfortune to meet.

14. You're wonderful, bouncy, and I love reading your posts.

15. "Elegant" is the first word that always comes to mind when I think about you. I can't point to a specific reason, but everything about you reads that way to me.

16. I get excited when you post. I think I've commented in your journal once, maybe twice, but I always read when I see your name and come away … happy that'd the post was there. I can't quite explain it.

17. We met once, and I had the best time, but we don’t talk much online. I hope we can get together again one day.

18. I was shocked when you added me to your friend's list. I don't really know you all that well, but I've enjoyed the few posts we've had, and look forward to more.

19. I've always loved your name, and your fics. I went for months before I even realized you had a livejournal, and then added you right away. I always look forward to your posts.

20. We met once, and I really enjoyed talking with you. I friended you when I found your livejournal because I hoped we could keep in contact (since I'm so bad with e-mail). You haven't friended me back, and I'm a little sad.
