Corner of the World Cliff Notes

So, I started the Cliff Notes for Coner of the World today. Here's how I think they'll be arrange (at least part of them). What does anyone think?

1: Pain

SUMMARY

Lex watches Clark crying on the bridge. He waxes poetic about how erotic the sight of a True Innocent suffering is. Clark sees him and they talk. Lex invites Clark over to the mansion for dinner and a movie. Clark agrees.

CHARACTERS:

Lex: This installment is told from Lex's point of view. He is surprised to find himself turned on by Clark's emotional pain. Finds physical pain mudane. Somehow 'knows' that Clark is grieving for a loss. Is having mixed feelings about his attraction since he knows Clark is undeage and innocent, but wants him anyway.

Clark: Agrees to blow off plans with Chloe and Pete to spend time with Lex. Not much else.

CONFLICTS WITH CANON

None

TIMING WITHIN THE SHOW

This fics takes place about a week after Metamorphisis. I'm placing it about the third week of Octorber.

Other categories in this format will include Original Characters and maybe Continuity (or continuing) threads. What does anyone think? I'm really not good at summarizing things, and I'm not sure how much of the plot to stick in each summary. Any suggestions?

You tell us everything we need to know to place the fic within in canon and, eventually, within the series, without giving anything away. Simply listing the characters I think is sufficient. We don't really need to know anything else without actually reading the fic.

Except the guide is supposed to help remember specific and important things about characters, plot, continuity, etc. without having to reread. That way, if you or I are reading part 35, and want to check something that happened earlier in the series, you can do it without rereading the fic. Otherwise, what's the point of creating a guide?

Well, that's a different matter altogether. If the summaries are reminders rather than teasers, then what you have works.

This is about right. For your characters, though, those seem more like a summary than what I think you're going for. Hmm. How about:

Summary: Lex's POV. Lex watches Clark crying on the bridge. He is surprised to find himself turned on by Clark's emotional pain. Clark sees him and they talk. Lex invites Clark over to the mansion for dinner and a movie. Clark agrees.


Characters
Lex: age 21, still in beginning stages of friendship with Clark, is attracted to Clark, works for father at LCPlant.

Clark: age 15, high school frosh, is attracted to Lana, is having Issues with alienness.


then, for Dinner and a Movie, it would be:

Characters
Lex: talks to self, has asthma, can 'shut himself off'/blank face emotions

Clark: is attracted to Lex, doesn't let Lex end friendship
