I've worn glasses since I was in 7th grade. That's 11 years. Each year, my eyes have gotten progressively worse. I started wearing glasses only to look at the board, then to read, then all the time. Each year my perscription gets stronger and stronger. Either last year or two times ago, I suprised my eye doctor with how much worse my eyes got in one year.

They didn't change at all this year. Not one bit. Exact same perscription. And, funny thing is, I could have sworn my eyes had gotten blurrier in the past month. But, nope; they're fine.

I'm really happy about that. :)

Yay you! That means that you'll be a candidate for um, you know, the good eye surgery, soon! I'm just becoming one (a candidate, that is) myself, and trying to decide. But leveling out is always good news. Congrats!

My mom still hasn't leveled out (at 53) but I haven't changed for four years (knock on wood) (at 27) so I'm hopeful that I won't be legally blind. And, I really really love my disposable contacts, so it could be worse. Still hoping that my candidacy (sp? is that a word?) maintains itself.

I don't care how long I go without my perscription changing: I'm not getting eye surgery.

Good luck to you, though
