Friday Five, Movie Meme, and Vin Disel
Apr. 4th, 2003 09:50 amToday I manaed to catch Vin Disel on the radio as I went to work. He sounded tired, like he was still in bed. And all I could picture was him propped up against the headboard, sheet bunched around his waist, rubbing his eyes as he talked on the phone. And next to him, sprawled out, totally limp and sated, is Seth Green, listening lazily to half a conversation between his lover and the radio people.
*Ahem* Anyway. I'm sort of a Vin Disel/Seth Green shipper and have been ever since my little sister told me I coudln't slash their characters in Knockaround Guys because, when I first thought of it, I hadn't yet seen the movie. So, I thought of the next best thing. Too bad someone got too busy with her disseration before she could finish my Seth/Disel fic.
1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Three. I remember two. 4 if you count house sitting for
hedrahelix for weeks on end. ;)
2. Which was your favorite and why?
I liked the house on Augusta where I lived from age 2-13. It wasn’t as big or a nice as the house I live in now, but it had a huge backyard with a tree for my swing.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Both. Stressful because, dude, you’re moving, and exciting because, hey! You're moving!
4. What's more important, location or price?
Easy. Location. I can say that because I’ve never had to pay for my own place. Ask me again in a year, though
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
Big yard, lots of windows, a great view, a big bathtub, an office, and lots of space.
Movie Meme
5 movies I always stop to watch
1. Star Wars.
2. Princess Bride
3. When Harry Met Sally
4. Mallrats
5. Dogma
Oh, and I'm on the second draft of COTW 36. It's rather devoid of any real plot, but I think it's okay. We'll see what Fabrisse says.

Date: 2003-04-04 01:54 pm (UTC)Yes, I'm inserting my own name there, because this paragraph made me all weak in the knees with the mental imagery, so I needed somewhere to lie down. And Vin's bed seemed as good a place as any.
Thank you for the best mental image in quite some time. *g*

"devoid of plot" often translates to "pages upon pages of hot gay monkey sex." True here? Cause I could really really get behind that.

You're quite welcome. It was a nice image to be carrying in my head, and I just had to share it. It's almost enough to make me finish my "XXX" slash fic.

Sadly, no. In this case, "devoid of plot," translates to, 'I couldn't ignore the damn episode because it's kind of important, but there wasn't much to add to it, so it's a bunch of scenes that develop character and explain the behind-the-scenes stuff." But, after this fic is 'Red.' And 'Red' will probably not be devoid of plot, but it also won't be devoid of sex. ;)

Oooh -- Redsplanation. That works, too! *g*
Re:
