Losing the thread...
Mar. 26th, 2003 06:32 pmWell, I wanted to do a Wednesday 100 drabble, but coudln't get inspired. If I'm not next week, i'm going to unjoin the community. I like reading what other's have written, but I can go the the lj to read them.
I'm writing the Duplicity fic. It's a little harder than 'Heat' because I'm writing around the scenes, but I still have to deal with what happens in the episode as it happens. At least, I feel I do. Most of the time, I write before or after an episode; but a few times, I have to tweak what happens to fit in COTW-verse.
My Clark isn't ready to tell anyone his secret, but I've decided it's too hard not to have Pete in on the secret. So, I'll need to write around it. Unfortunatly, I keep forgetting what happenes when. I cannot watch the show again, but thank God for transcripts.
I finally got to see "Sentinel Too" today. I don't know how much I enjoyed it. I think, as a whole, the episode fell flat and I'm not sure what they were trying to do. Especially with the stupid camera work. God, those were bad fight scenes.

Putting COTW 14 up in a few minutes. The way climbing on the ship makes Clark feel better ties in so well with the way it protects him in "Visage" that it's almost eerie. Part of me hopes TPTB are reading COTW & following you, but I think it's more likely that both of you are bowing to the true logic of the story (as with the Wee!CLex in "Lineage") -- you just do it more consistently.

Date: 2003-03-27 09:30 am (UTC)I think Hollywood had a tap on my brain. So much of what I write even in non-fanfic shows up on TV (like the thing on Angel where the sun got taken away; basically the plot to one of the novels). I have a feeling that the writers of SV and I are just following the same trail; I just find it first and do it better. ;)
