Stupid Fred

Fred is a Mary Sue. Swear to God. She's perfect in every way. Everyone loves her. She can make a deadly weapon out of a toaster, translate any book, read in a million different languages, do physics, do long division in her head. She's sweet and smells nice and has hair that is long and "pretty."

Did i mention everyone loves her? Everyone. Wesley, Gunn, WILLOW! I mean, Willow was on for ONE EPISODE and she's attracted to Fred. It's stupid. Fred serves no purpose but to a) Be the girl and b) replace Wesley.

I didn't want to dislike her, but I really do.

And I think that they should have held off giving Willow a girlfriend until Faith came back. That way they could work out old demons and talk about how Willow disliked Fred because she took away Xander and Buffy and because Willow as desperately attracted to her.

Did I mention I didn't like Fred?

and c) makes us long for a rampaging demon to snap her delicate neck... why, oh WHY, couldn't Fred have been the one to go all Evil Power instead of Cordelia? *grumble grumble*

Because then she would have had an actual purpose, unlike now, where all she does is sit around and take up space. I honestly don't understand this character. It was like they knew they'd be splitting Wesley off from the group, so they had to get a replacement before they did. I don't want two Wesley's. I only want one. Mine!
