In an attempt to subliminate, I'm doing everything I can to forget that we're now at war. I think the fucking gym should _not_ have been showing the countdown. I mean, I went there to work off some stress. Watching numbers count backwards was not what I would call relaxing. They need to rethink their policy.

I'm watching Cutthroat island right now. I haven't watched it a long time. I suddenly want to re-write my first novel, which was about pirates. Unfortunately, it pretty much doesn't have a plot, except for romance, and I dont know how to go about writing a romance novel. I could read a few, but I don't know if I could take it. Does anyone have any reccomendations? I think I'll park myself at a coffee house this week-end and read fluff. Or something.

Maybe I'll just write a Sentinel pirate AU, since no one else seems to have written one. I don't _want_ to, but pirates are cool.

I had a headache all day. I felt so sick in science, i sort of forgot what i was doing and stared at Alexis for a long time. And she saw me. Unfortunatly, I had my glasses off and my eyes were blurry from rubbing them. I know she smiled, I think I smiled back, but I think she thought Iwas going to say something. I can't do things when I'm sick. I just look like an idiot.

But she looked great today. All pretty and glowy.

I'm close to getting done with COTW 35. I"ve got a few rewrites, and a beta, and it'll be done. Yay!

yup. it was dubbed one of the worst movie scripts ever written by this man who wrote a book breaking down movie scripts and showing what worked and what didn't. Cutthroat was the first one he discussed.

I'm a sucker for priate movies, of course I saw it long time ago before I'd seen "good" movies. I liked some elements of it. But if I can recall the story telling was mishmoshed and awful. Still... Modine was kinda spiffy.

I think "aweful" is overexaggerating a bit, but then, I'm pretty easy. It wasn't the best movie, but it's one I can watch over and over. (and not just for the glimps of Geena Davis' breasts) :)
