serafina20What kind of crack were the SeaQuest writers taking when they thought 201-2003 was far enough in the future that we'd be capable of creating genetically engineered soldiers from scratch? The show was written in the 1990s. At least when Star Trek set the Eugenics Wars in the 90s, they had the excuse of living in the sixties.
