Before work, I rushed to Target to get the Smallville soundtrack. Yes, I know I shouldn't have after the horrible plug in Fever, but I had to. I'm a fangirl, and I've never really had a problem with the music on the show. I understand from other people's comments that it's supposed to be really bad, but except for the theme song, and a few other songs, it's never struck me as horrible. And I wanted the Five for Fighting and Eva Cassidy songs; I was also hoping the song played in Ryan at the very end would be on it, but I don't think it is.
Of course I got the Lana trading card. *grr* But I can finally start my dart board, at least; I've been waiting for the perfect target.
1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
Novels. Pretty much any kind except high fantasy (stuff that isn’t connected to this world) and most regular fiction.
2. What is your favorite novel?
Too many to really say, but “Ender’s Game,” “Ender’s Shadow,” “The Forever King” and “Pride and Prejudice” are up there. Oh! And “Beauty,” “The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle” and “Ella Enchanted.”
3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
Uh… “The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock”, “anyone lived in a little how town” and “Phenomenal Woman” are the three I think I like best. I’m at work and they aren’t, though.
4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
“Morte D’Arthur” but I can’t get into it. And “The Man in the Iron Mask” but I still have to get through two of the Musketeer books first (“The Vicount D’Brandelong” and “Louise ….” Something or other; the two that come after “Twenty Years After”)
5. What are you currently reading?
“Queen of Camelot” and “Animal Rage” (the Smallville book) in addition to school stuff.
