I hate it when people write one chapter of a fic, post it, then decide not to write anymore. It's so frustrating. Even more when they write a bunch of chapters and then stop, but I'm upset about a specific fic right now. I don't understand why people do that. If I'm writing a novel length fic (and I don't mean series, because that's differen), I make sure that I'm going to get to the end before I start posting. I may not know exactly how I'll get there, but I have an idea where I'm going. Posting before knowing that you will continue is rude, somehow.

*sigh* At least I don't run across this much in 'Smallville.' It's mostly in 'Angel' and 'Buffy,' and I don't read those much anymore.
