Didn't the Doctor and Astrid and others go down to the surface before the disaster? Did that get cut for BBCA? Or did I blink and miss it.

I'm thinking about taking a bath (now I'm sore) but I have to clean the tub first. Yuck.

Yep, in the original they went down to Earth and saw that the streets of London were deserted because everyone left for christmas becusae of what had gone on in years past. That's when the Doctor first met Wilfred. BBCA mut have cut it for time. :(

Voyage of the Damned was way depressing - not in the christmas spirit at all!
