Yesterday, I drove an elephant seal and sea lion up to the main center. The elli kept putting her nose against the cage to look at the sea lion. It was so cute! And elli's don't humanize, so we could go up to it and go, "Ah! Who's a pretty girl? Who's a pretty girl? Who's a good seal? Is you a good seal?"

Cool -- yes, and weirdly scary. Where do you do your marine mammal rescue work? My fave actor, Richard Burgi, has the Pacific Marine Mammal Rescue center as his charity.

I do it out of Monterey. Well, the main base is in Sacilito; I work at one of the satellite bases.
