Just SV's Skinwalker, only better done, with a better actress, a more emotive lead (sorry, Welling, but Colin Morgan was awesome) and less mystic cave symbols. Except, I guess, for the one on her arm that Merlin saw when they were in the catacombs, whatever it was totally a cave.

So, Freya > Kayla
Flying Panther > skinwalker wolf
Merlin > Clark
Arthur... < Lex, but who could possible beat Lex?

Although, Uther is really more like Jonathan than Lionel with his "Magic is EVIL" much like Jonathan's "Lex is EVIL" spiels.

So. That's all I have to say about that.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!! DON'T LEAVE SMALLVILLE FOR MERLIN. PLEASE DONT DO THIS TO ME. I JUST found Corner of the World this will break my little heart in so many different ways I can't even say. I'll spend the rest of who knows how long curled in a ball crying my eyes out cursing myself for not getting into SV fandom sooner. Dying a little knowing that now I'll HAVE to watch the last three episodes of the 1st season of Merlin and all of the second season of Merlin before I'm able to move on with my life. But all the while crying CRYING big fat salty tears of saddness that Corner of the World will remained unfinished for ever and ever and ever. Please PLEASE PLEASE don't do this to me.
