Psych prediction

So, last night on Psych, Lassi kind of jovially told Shawn that he'd never be a cop. And Shawn kinda... froze and looked pissed or something.

So, my prediction is, at some point, whether or impress Abigail or so he's not locked out of investigations or something, Shawn will decide to go to the Academy in hopes of skipping to detective (or whatever). He'll be all gung ho, but completely Shawn and, by the end of the series or whatever, everyone, starting with his father and ending with Lassiter, will tell him to give it up and just go back to being a psychic detective because that's what he's brilliant at.

And, if it doesn't happen in canon, I may have to write it at some point.
