Feels like my teeth is melting... so yes, I can hear it too, despite being a few years over 25...

The funny thing is, my mom just recently heard about it and it coincided with a strange noise driving my sister insane at home. They later figured out it was the TV, which was on despite the screen being off, and my sister could hear it. My mom wanted to see if I could hear it, and when I said I could, she didn't believe me. But I knew I did, and now I have proof. :)

Yeah, my wireless modem makes a weird noise similar to this only a bit lower pitch, drove me nuts and I finally shove it out the door and it's now sitting right at the wall next to my door. :P

I could feel it in my teeth, too. Damn, that is just inappropriate. Teeth are not for hearing.

I can just barely hear something, so clearly I'm not going to be able to hear it much longer.

When I teach the sound unit in my physics class, I have the students test the limits of their hearing. I can't hear much beyond 19,400 Hz. The kids who use their ear-buds and head-phones all the time? Have really bad results. It freaks them out for about a week, then the iPods are back.

HAHAHA! That drove my cat crazy. Usually she'll just sleep through computer noise when she grudgingly shares my lap with the laptop. This had her up wandering the bed looking to kill it.

Ugh, the people in my office used to play that to torment me since I was the only one who could hear it. Unfortunately I still can and it is still so freaking annoying.

The worst is that many teenagers have that as their ring tone on their cell phones so that teachers can't hear it. I can hear it though, which freaks them out...

That sound is very annoying. I hear a similar noise around electronics sometimes - tv that are supposedly turned off and phones as well.

AHHHHHHHhhhh! This noise needs to be wiped from the face of the earth! My teeth didn't hurt until I turned it off though, which is weird. And now my eyeballs hurt, too.

I hear this noise from my mother's air conditioner sometimes. She can't figure out why I hate going in her bedroom.
