My neck got all fucked up somehow. I can't turn it to look right. My head hurts. I want to die.

Take ibuprofen to begin with. It's a muscle relaxant, albeit mild, so that may help. If it's really, really bad, go to a doctor.

What's the pain like? Is it entirely stiff, makes you want to cry even if you're sitting really still? (I had wry neck last year about this time, and it was quite honestly the worst pain I've ever experienced. Hence the questions. Because if it's that, you'd really, really want medication.)

Stupid me too acetaminophen last night. I had a headache, too, but since it stemmed from my neck, it didn't work.

I ended up going to a chiropractor. He gave me an adjustment (with this little... gun thing; it was weird) and while the pain isn't all gone, it's sooooo much better. Before, it was sharp and stabbing if I turned and dull and achy as long as I sat perfectly still. At least I have a slightly more range of motion now.

What sucks is it hurts in the exact same place it did after my car accident/kid dropping a chair on my head stuff two years ago. I had physical therapy and have been fine and then *boom*. Pain again. So, keep an eye on your neck, 'cause you never know if it'll go back, I guess.
