So, I got a summons for jury duty for tomorrow. I was actually... I don't know. Glad. So, I didn't ask to postpone it, just decided to do it. Only, now, they say, "Oh, not tomorrow. Wednesday. And check back tomorrow night." And it's hard because I had a sub lined up for tomorrow, and had to call him and say, "Sorry."

I would have been easier to go through. And is it bad that I sort of want to do it? Even if I get picked for a jury? I'm all about experiencing things (except, apparently, sex) and it'd be a new experience.

AH well.

I know I am in a very small minority but I actually have enjoyed jury duty every time I have been called and I've never tried to get out of it. Part of that had to do with the fact that the job I had at the time provided unlimited jury duty pay and I probably couldn't afford to do it now, but I was got this little civic duty buzz

My only issue with jury duty is the waiting and wondering. I've only ever ended up waiting to be called, waiting for them to choose a jury, waiting for the lawyers to decide whether to plead out, and then being sent home without ever hearing the case. Ugh.
