There was a woman behind me that literally gasped when Bucky was unmasked and said, "Oh my God, that is is friend!" I thought that was kind of cool.

I kind of really want fics where Alexander Pierce is being creepily paternal to the Winter Solider. Like, he buys him from the Russians and has the idea they can keep him out of cryo with the power of "you're going to save the world" speeches, but then Bucky wanders off (which is the hardest part to read in the comics) and Pierce realizes Bucky can't be kept out, but he never quite drops the charade when he's around Bucky.

The general consensus seems to be that the Henry Jackman's soundtrack sucks while Alan Silvestri's was the best thing ever, but... I like the First Avenger's soundtrack, but it's nothing special. The main theme is good and memorable, but the rest? Eh. But, as hard as some of Winter Solider's soundtrack is, I like it. There are some interesting things going on (although, some of it reminds me of Tron: Legacy, which... is weird). So, yeah. I don't get it.

Any reservations I had about Cobie Smulders being Maria Hill were put to rest by how damn awesome she was. And beautiful.

It's so hard, because I'm such a Steve/Bucky shipper, but Steve/Sam warms the cockles of my little fangirl heart. The only solution is a triad.
