Look, I get that you're only doing your job. That you just read the crap that they put in front of you, sound all cool, then collect your paycheck. However, this is driving me crazy, so:

The eclipse did not give them all their powers. Ignoring the fact that the older generation all had their powers way before the eclipse, every single one of the newer generation noticed their power before, too. Claire? Was on her, like, 17th attempt or something at killing herself. Not to mention the whole surviving the fire as a baby (although, that may have not been her power). Hiro manipulated time days before. Nathan first flew months before. Isaac seems to have been painting the future for years or something. Even Sylar seems to have had his power (didja see his apartment? If his power is intuitive aptitude coupled with an intense desire to understand *everything*, you couldn't get more of a clear signal than all those books).

Maybe the next eclipse will "take their powers away or something, but stop with the bullshit.

I hope the episode is good, at the very least. (I'm actually enjoying this season, since I"m easy to please. It's just the commercial driving me up the wall)

Yeah, I'm so happy that they've gone in a different direction than season two. Maybe the eclipse just takes away their powers for the duration of it? That's the only reasonable explanation.
