Fic wish

I really wish that, in fanfic, people wrote Steve more willing to break the rules when he already knows they need to be broken. Too often I run across where there's a situation (like, Fury lying or something) and someone suggests doing something that goes against orders, and Steve hesitates. And it drives me crazy because, if it's the right thing to do, Steve is totally willing to break all the rules. (see: Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers for reference).
