Lots of thoughts, but the only think I can think about right now is regarding Dark Is Rising:

I'm not going to like this film very much, am I?

I just... I haven't read the book since I was a kid, and there's a lot I don't remember (what I do remember is one of the Old Ones telling Will and his brothers what their voices would sound like when they changed and, you know, them all being... well, I guess they aren't ENglish, huh? Welsh? Not from America), but the preview I saw? Nothing like the book I remember.

Still. I must see the movie for Christopher Eccleston. Because I am his slave.

I keep seeing Christopher Eccleston in all sorts of things. I saw "Elizbeth: The Virgin Queen" on cable last weekend and nearly squealed at him as Norfolk in those balloon breaches.

Then I saw the trailer for Dark is Rising before OotP.

He's everywhere.
