Fic Dilemma stuff

So, ideally, the next adventure with Rachel and the boys would be based off an urban legend that they work together to solve while they all continue to work out their relationship with one another. It'd be in the same vein as the other two.

Unfortunatly, the bunny that's bit me hard is a coda to Shadow and'll take Dean and Rachel's relationship in a direction that it's heading, but I'm not sure ready to go. Well, there's that, and there's the fear that, if I do it, Rachel will go from and OFC to Mary Sue in a matter of pages. Even though I personally think it'd be in character for both of them and a natural extension of how their relationship has gone so far.

I don't know, though. I"m so confused. Because, not only that, I've seen the dangers of writing along with the show. Once you start, it's impossible to stop, yo.

Help me, Obi-wan; you're my only hope.

I'm not Obi-wan, but I can wear the costume for Halloween. I completely understand the fear of Rachel becoming an OFC, but IMHO, the audience that is reading your story is obviously reading it because 1) you're a good writer, 2) compelling stories 3) the thought of Dean actually having "emotion", angst-filled or not for someone. It's also greaet so see Sam be able to play a "big brother" role to someone else. So coming from a extremely picky reader of fanfic, especially OFCs in any other category but Supernatural, I can say that I would read it and enjoy it and trust the direction you're taking it in. Good luck! And I really hope to see continuation of this series!
