My cat is a freak!!!

Oh my *god*. She was outside, playing, and I hear what I think are the sprinklers going off. I look outside and see that it's raining. Okay, so she should be back soon, right?

No, wrong. I look outside, and Brycee is just sitting out there, in the rain, in the bushes. I go outside to get her, and she actually squirmed out of my arms and just stood there in the rain. And now, she wants to go back outside!

She's a freak.

Hey, my cat Sweetie also loves the rain. She sits under the car-port and ignores my pleas to come in side. When she does come in, all wet and whining I grab a towel, dry her and reassure her she will be ok, only to have her jump off my lap and walk off back outside into the rain.

(Which she then repeats several times, just to drive me crazy!!)

I'm glad to know my cat's not the only one. Of course, her fur is so darn thick, it's possible she didn't know it was raining, right? :)

I used to have a cat who, if we filled it with water and didn't get in right away, would jump in the bathtub and just sit there.

I have a couple of cats(out of 7) That love to be outside when it's raining. One spent the early part of his life outside before I adopted him. The others are just crazy. One we had to go out twice during hurricane Rita to get. One also walks the edge of my pool and stares at the water contemplatively. I'm just waiting for her to dive in.
